Message

Takao Watanabe
Representative Director Takao Watabe

Taste moves the heart,
and the heart connects people.

People cannot hide their emotions.
In particular, joy and pleasure naturally show themselves in facial expressions and attitudes, and people want to tell others about them. One such example is the excitement we feel when we eat delicious food.
It is also a pleasure that we all experience to want to share that deliciousness with others.

We value the sharing of that joy.
In Japan, prepared food is called "Souzai" and the Kanji for “sou” in “Souzai” means “to support something with one's heart".
In other words, it means that the “thing” of foodstuffs is conveyed to people through the heart.

We strive every day to add the joy of “deliciousness” to the feelings that are conveyed. Creating this chain of joy is the future we aim for as a comprehensive food company that pioneers a new era.
